Year End Tournament
The Mustangs hosted the WOAA Year End Tournament this past weekend in Howick and things didn't exactly go as planned. The girls dropped the first game to provincials-bound Owen Sound 3-1. Jayla scored the Mustangs lone goal (assisted by Isabelle & Chloe).
Fatigue played a factor in the 2nd game as the Mustangs lost 2-0 to West Grey-ending their tournament. 9 skaters made it difficult to play more than one game in the same day, much less 3 hours apart.
All in all, the girls had a great season and your coaches are very proud of the way you played. We wish you all the best in your future hockey endeavours and we had a lot of fun working with you. I think everyone would agree, you all came a long way in terms of your skill development!
