Great way to start girls
Good job girls, nice way to start off our regular season. Winning over the visiting team Kincardine by a score of 5-1.
Abbey MacLennan had a strong showing, only allowing one goal during the contest. Way to go Abbey.
Megan Buchanan scored the games first goal on a breakaway one minute and eleven seconds into the first period. (assisted by Zayden Heffer).
Second goal was score by Zayden Heffer (assisted by Megan Buchanan and Jensyn Cressman).
Third goal netted at the start of the third period by Adeline Todd ( assisted by Kyra Becker).
Forth goal score by Megan Buchanan (unassisted).
Fifth goal happened with 3min left in the game by Zayden Heffer (assisted by Megan Buchanan ).
I want to thank all the girls for their hard work and drive during the game. Some of the girls this was there first game with the mustangs and I wanted to say I was very impressed with everyone on the team. GO MUSTANGS.
