Exhibition Game vs Mitchell
The Mustangs hosted Huron-Perth's top team on Thursday night in Howick with only 9 skaters, but came out flying-controlling the play and leading for the better part of the contest. The Mustangs out-shot Mitchell and were leading 2-1 with only 5:13 remaining in the game. Fatigue and a late power-play goal, resulted in a tough 3-2 loss to the visitors. Mitchell entered the contest with a record of 20-6, having won 3 tournament championships already this year.
Lucy scored the 1st Mustangs goal (unassisted) and Thea netted her 1st of the season (assisted by Alyssa). Great defence and strong goal tending were evident as the girls continue to improve.
